What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

IPC media is a publisher that may want to publish my magazine, as they do not really have a magazine quite the genre of my magazine, they have nme, but even though that is a music magazine, it isn’t the same genre as my magazine, so they are likely to want a different genre of music magazine.

Bauer are less likely to want to publish my magazine, as they have kerrang magazine, which is of a sort of similar genre, so they probably wouldn’t want to sell two of the same genre of music magazine, as they would just be competing with themselves.

Future might also want to publish my magazine, but this is also quite unlikely as it has magazines in the same sort of genre again, so it’s unlikely they would publish it.

I think IPC is most likely to publish my magazine, as it doesn’t have a music magazine in the same sort of genre.
